Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: April 2, 2026 · Last Updated: April 2, 2026

CanadaClouds, operating as MarginMagic, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to provide an inclusive experience that conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard.

We believe that every user, regardless of ability, should be able to access and use MarginMagic effectively. Accessibility is not a one-time effort but an ongoing commitment that we integrate into our design, development, and testing processes.

1. What We Have Done

We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility throughout the MarginMagic application:

1.1 Semantic HTML

We use proper semantic HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists, and form labels) to ensure that the structure of every page is meaningful and navigable by assistive technologies.

1.2 Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements, including buttons, links, form controls, and navigation menus, are fully operable using a keyboard alone. Focus indicators are visible and consistent throughout the application.

1.3 ARIA Labels and Roles

We use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to provide additional context to assistive technologies where native HTML semantics are insufficient, including labels for icons, roles for dynamic content, and live regions for status updates.

1.4 Color Contrast

Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text). We test contrast across both light and dark themes.

1.5 Touch Targets

All interactive elements maintain a minimum touch target size of 44 by 44 points, ensuring they are easy to activate for users with motor impairments or those using touch devices.

1.6 Screen Reader Support

The application is tested with screen readers to ensure that all content, navigation, forms, and interactive elements are announced correctly and in a logical order.

1.7 Dark Mode Support

MarginMagic supports both light and dark color themes. Both themes are designed to meet accessibility contrast requirements, and users can switch between them based on their preference or system settings.

2. Conformance Status

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We continuously review and improve the accessibility of our application. While we strive for full conformance, some content may not yet fully meet all criteria. We are committed to identifying and resolving any gaps as part of our ongoing development process.

3. Known Limitations

We continuously improve the accessibility of MarginMagic. Some areas may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria, particularly within complex interactive features such as data charts and AI-generated content. We actively monitor these areas and prioritize accessibility improvements in every release cycle.

4. Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

As a business operating in Ontario, Canada, we are committed to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (Ontario Regulation 191/11). This includes compliance with the Information and Communications Standards, which require that internet websites and web content conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA (with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our target standard).

We are committed to making our services accessible to all Ontarians, including persons with disabilities, in a manner that respects their dignity and independence.
